Peace & Justice Committee
Presents our
Outstanding Citizen
Award Program
The teachers of St. Ann will be
asked to nominate candidates on a monthly basis. The Award will be
given during liturgy every month. Each nominee must meet the criteria
below in order to be nominated.
Outstanding St. Ann Citizen Criteria:
A Peace & Justice Committee Outstanding Citizen Nominee reflects the characteristics below in everything that they do.
Ø
Has a deep respect for God and what he has given us such as their
teachers, siblings, classmates, animals, and our natural resources.
Ø Shows tolerance and understanding when faced with conflict.
Ø Gives service with civility to both the St. Ann Community and outside of it.
Ø Shows perseverance and goes above and beyond the normal call for action.
Ø Is a model and inspiration to others with regards to grace, civility, and community spirit.
Ø Accepts the role of a leader and it’s various responsibilities with understanding and grace.
Ø Expresses a positive attitude even when faced with difficulty.
Ø Is genuinely helpful and self sacrificing.
The Award winner will represent the school for the month that they are chosen. They will reflect our school year motto by “Sewing the Seeds” of Peace and Justice in their daily lives and should offer a “Fruit for Spirit” to all they encounter.
